Here it is Dec. 13 and I am not finished with my Christmas shopping. Maybe today and tomorrow I will get finished. Have some packages to mail and they need to be in the mail. They may be late now to Washington. I am just slow.
It has been a good year this year. Neither of us have been sick much which is a blessing. We got to go to Joetta's and had a good visit. Went to Bryan and Tonya for the weekend when to first got there to Wash. It was a long road over the mountains but worth getting to see the little ones and their Parents. On the was back to Joetta's we went thro Levenworth, Wa. It is an interesting place. so much to see and I was having a hard time walking. But got to see a little.

Got home really tired but it didn't take long to rest up and we were ready to go again. Got to go to the beach and it was the most perfect day. No wind, no rain just beautiful. I love the beach.

Went to Dawn Nicole's churchthe last Sunday we were there. It was different. No one clapped their hands, raised their hands in praise or anything. I couldn't help wonder where the joy of the Lord was. Like I said it was different but to each his own. If that is where the people can meet the Lord and be blessed then thats great.

We stayed with Myrna the last night we were in Washington. She and Joyce took us to the airport in Portland the next morning. Had a good flight home and all.

That was in Sept. that we went to Joetta's. In Oct. it was still rather warm but right now I can't remember anything special that happened. In Nov. we went to Rita and Bob's to spend the night at their house for Thanksgiving the next day. It was rather crazy because they weren't home. Jim and Sarah came also. We had a good visit with them. Missed Rita and Bob tho. I got to go Christmas Shopping a little bit on Wed. Met Patty at Orienta and she went with us. We enjoyed visiting with her and later Glenn.

In Dec. I made a quilt for Tom and Terry for Christmas. I have said that is the last quilt I am going to make. Hopefully that is the way It will be. But now I am rather behind so must stop this and get busy. Tom and his family are to be here on Dec. 25th am for Brunch and gift giving. So I have oodles to do .
