Catching up

Catching up from a long time in entering a blog. I am just too forgetful to write much.

The summer and spring has come and gone so fast. Some days it was toooooo hot and I was ready for summer to be over. The temp that was the hotest that I can remember was 108----that is just too hot. We didn't go any place for vacation during the hottest days. We are planning to go to Joetta's on Sept 17, 2010 and come home the 27th. I am looking forward to visiting with her. Myrna is suspose to pick us up and to take us back to Portland to catch the plane when we come home. That way we can visit with her too.

I think it was in June I went to Dawn's for a weeks visit. Enjoyed seeing CHad, Amber and the girls. They are growing up so fast. This fall they started school in the 1st and 2nd grades. They are so much fun--a lot of work but fun. (That is for grandma to do, the work I mean.) ha

Dawn and Mike have built a sunroon on the back of their house that is wonderful. I loved getting up, grabbing a cup of coffee and going to the sunroom to watch the news read my Bible then eating breakfast before getting ready for the day. I love running around with Dawn and "helping" her with her work. It is just fun being with her.

Rita and Bob are to come over this Saturday, 28th, just for supper. They are going to Mooreland for the Mooreland queen contest at school. They aren't staying for Sunday. But I guess a little visit is better that not. Have to go home because Cliff and Teresa are coming.

I think this brings things up to date mostly. I am sure that I have forgotten a lot but we are still well and happy in the Lord. Keep looking up for the coming of our Lord Jesus is closer than ever before. He still reigns. Love Donna
